Let's give a big round of applause to the winners of the Red, White, and Blue Day competition held during Community Appreciation Day at Mother Brunner School!
These outstanding students truly went above and beyond to showcase their American spirit and express gratitude to those who support us in the military. After a tough competition, the finalists were chosen and awarded gift cards to Chick-fil-A. The decision was not easy, and the competition was intense. One finalists from each classroom were chosen and photographed alongside Fr. Tony, holding the banner that we designed to pay tribute to our family members currently serving.

Meet our new Dean of Students, Stacey Cavanaugh!
The appointment of the new Dean of Students at Mother Brunner marks a significant step towards creating an enriched educational environment. With a focus on positivity, collaboration, and student well-being, the dean will play a vital role in shaping the future success of both students and the school community.
👩🏫 Tell us a little about yourself: I've spent 25 years in education, teaching English Language Arts and Social Studies to 7th and 8th graders in the Dayton area. Now, I'm diving into administration and pursuing further studies at the University of Dayton.
💖 What do you find most rewarding about working in your field: If I had to choose just one thing, it would undoubtedly be the students! Making a positive impact on their lives and education is the heartbeat of what I do.
🏫 What makes Mother Brunner special: I'm still new to Mother Brunner, but I can already feel the warmth and uniqueness of this place. The caring staff and wonderful students make it truly special.
😊 What brings you joy: Two things top my joy list—seeing my three children happy, healthy, and thriving, and being able to help others in need however I can.
⏰ What do you enjoy doing in your free time: My absolute favorite activity is spending quality time with my family and my two dogs. And after school, you'll likely find me squeezing in a workout to stay active.
Can't wait to embark on this journey with all of you at Mother Brunner! Let's make it an amazing experience together. 📚 #MeetDeanStacey #MotherBrunnerJourney

The snowmen were sent home along with this message:
Lean this snowman against the wall to remind you when I was this small. Fingerprints made the mouth and eyes. This snowman is just my size! So, take him out each winter and see I’m not as little as I used to be.
