Today we welcomed our teachers for the new school year! We are getting our classrooms ready, and we can't wait to see you this Thursday, August 17, beginning at 5:00 pm. We'll start with prayer in the church and then have staff and teacher introductions, you'll then have an opportunity to visit your classrooms, and there will be a final blessing of the classrooms before the night is over.

Our third graders are submitting items for the Montgomery County Environmental Services Recycled Art Contest. Students in Ms. Jill's art class worked together in groups, selected end of year recyclable items from their classroom to create a sculpture. The sculptures are going to be dropped off today and awards will be given for originality, design and percentage of products used. Wish our students luck!
Flyers are coming home today for the 4th Quarter Bowling Party at Marian Bowling Lanes in Huber Heights, Friday, May 26, 6-8pm. Complete the bottom portion of the flyer and return to school. Students brought home the order form for Field Day T-Shirts on Monday, April 24. The forms are due back by May 12. Please send cash only and the correct amount with the completed form to the school office. Color selection is by grade level. Order form is per child. If you have more than one student, you must complete the form for each child.
What does it mean to eat a book? Our fifth graders worked together on a project using Cookbooks, writing down their favorite recipes and finding out some of things you can learn by reading cookbooks. We asked around for favorite family meals and here are some of their answers: Broccoli Soup, Buffalo Wings, Chicken Tacos, Fettuccini with Chicken, Quesadillas, Steak.
