Welcome to Brunner Catholic School

Mother Brunner School earned high marks in this year's Chaminade-Julienne High School writing contest.

Each year, CJ encourages all local area Catholic feeder schools to participate in their writing contest. The contest is for all seventh and eighth grade students and comprises four categories:  short short story, short story, poetry, and essay.  Entries are judged anonymously by CJ English teachers. More than 275 works were entered in this year's competition.  Mother Brunner students earned two first places, a third place, and several honorable mentions, placing higher than any other competing school. 

Our student winners were as follows:

• First Place for the category of short story
• First Place for the category of essay
• Third Place for the category of poetry
• Four students received honorable mentions

Mother Brunner Catholic School was founded in 2010 through the consolidation of Precious Blood and St. Rita Schools, each school providing a long rich history of academic excellence. Mother Brunner serves the greater Dayton, Ohio, area by providing education in grades K through 8. A preschool program is available which serves children starting at age 2 1/2.
