1st graders learned about line and shape, the first two elements of art, before beginning their Sea Crab Paintings. We drew circles, triangles, squares, rectangles, ovals, stars, and more to create our crab bodies, bubbles, fish, jellyfish, and other ocean life forms. We then traced with wax crayon and painted with tempera paint cakes to make our colors come alive. Amazing work, first grade artists!
